I have been looking at fitting one on the Vixen 2000e gearbox having used a friends Vixen with one fitted. Certainly nice to use and fractionally quicker gear changes but it was quite noisy as speed which might be intrusive on a long journey.

Have a look at retro fords site. They are now doing a nylon / rubber insulated quiet quick shift which doesn't rattle.

Thanks both, I don't fancy adding noise when it's going to be sited so close. I'll check out the retro Ford site
