Gents (& Ladies if there are any of you out there in classic TVR land)
Having spent a good few hours washing and waxing the old girl over the weekend, I was in the process of putting her back in the garage on Sunday when I happened to look over in the passenger footwell to see two rather impressive looking mushrooms wending their way skywards. They appear to have erupted from the gap between the carpet along the sill and that on the floor, and were a good 5-6" tall. So, given that the car is as dry as a bone inside and I've never had a fungal problem before,
1) how on earth could they have got there and
2) how do I get rid of all traces of them and prevent similar tumescences appearing again? Are there products available to deal with this sort of thing?
I should mention that they appear to have eaten their way clean through my nice new carpet and I am consequently having nightmares about mushrooms appearing all over the place even as I type..... :yikes:
And the car was looking so clean and shiny too.....

Seeing that you are close, are you off to Goodwood at the weekend, am going Saturday myself.
Grant
Hi Grant,
Nope, unfortunately I'm spending Saturday clearing dead mice out of my Mother's garage..... I will however be at Goodwood for the Revival in September. Which makes me think, is it worth trying to set up a Pre-wedge get-together for then?

Kris..
You lead such an exiting life , will be at the Revival as well so maybe meet there or maybe seeing that everyone seems to end up at the Essex meet we should all get a Pre-wedge meet arranged and get together then. (Pauline where are you)
