Hope so! Will be set up on the RR, then the acid test on track.

Might need to do something with those cables under the exhaust passenger side Jon, could be very expensive..
Yeh, the kill pull and extinguisher pull.

Will need to look at heat shielding probably a deflector and some wrap.
All electric wiring in the area has been wrapped and a shield around the Rev limiter control.

The local John Deere dealership now uses these on all the heavy agricultural machines, especially the exhaust manifold fasteners, due to them coming loose from vibration.

The downside is that they are not reusable.

Ironically with the length of those manifolds the engine vibration movement would be magnified so the right fixings will be more important than otherwise.

Well the RR set up went well. A worthwhile job after all.

There were a couple of other niggles ironed out Alan, but we saw a 20bhp increase from the last time it was on the RR.

Of course this isn’t the full picture and we’re hoping to get a more consistent power delivery on track, where it matters.

The old manifolds were definitely stifling the engine slightly.
