Vixen Heater

I'm trying to change the heater on my S2 Vixen to the type used on S3s. I've got a Mk3 Cortina matrix, & I've glassed up the letterbox slot on the bulkhead, but I need to know the exact dimensions of the circular hole & the 'top hat' section which goes on the inside of the bulkhead.
Has anyone any details, or close up photos that might help me, please?
I also need to make the cover for the matrix, has anyone got a mould, or a cover they don'y need?

I thought there were 2 types fitted to the Vixen S3.

If it's the same type as mine, you can see it in one of the pictures at http://nwarner.worldonline.co.uk/vixpic.htm , you can then go to the restoration section and see a picture of the hole for it in the bulk head.

If you look at www.hockerley.freeserve.co.uk/pages/engbay.html you will see that Russell's fan/blower is on the outside and mine is up under the dashboard.

If you need some measurements or more pictures let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I'm trying to tidy up the engine bay, so having the blower inside the car appeals most.
Any guidance is much appreciated.

I've not had the blower out or even looked at it as it's tucked away up under the dash, which is different on my car to any others I've seen, and it's not easy to remove and therefore take pictures etc. I can't remember much about the heater matrix etc. as it was quite a few years ago that I last had it off the car.

why not just bin the heater and all associated controls wiring and junk that clutters up a vixen and fit a heated screen instead??
