Just started a rebuild of my Vixen S3 rear suspension as I am fitting superflex bushes and double spings/dampers. At the same time I want to fit some 7J x 15 Revolutions that I bought a while back. To fit the wheels I found I needed spacers which in turn meant extended wheel studs. This meant stripping down the entire upright assembly to get at the back of the hub to change the studs and in the process I found my quill shafts are shafted! Basically the inner race of the outer bearing has been rotating on the shaft making a nice groove for itself which means it won't come off and the shaft looks wrecked. Are replacement quill shafts available anywhere? Anyone any idea how much? My other option is to go for a pair of replacement upright assemblies from Exactly TVR. Any opinions on which route I should follow?

Cheers,

Tom

While our S2 was in bits took advantage of Exactly's rear upright conversion,Excellent is the end result, drop in rear hubs{Triumph 2000},stronger bottom pivot the extra camber makes the back end dig in when booting out of bends-go for it give Adrian a call,no I'm not on commission!Just another satisfied customer.
