This one is a long time for sale, also RHD, seems to look also good, price not bad, time to bring it home to the UK?

That one isnt as original as it seems. 2500 chassis and ID mixed up between two Tuscans. A real odd one that one.its in France, 42.9k euro thats about 38.1k gbp

can you explain that? did I miss the chassis number? or you know that car from before?
most are over the years not standard anymore, there was a Dutch Tuscan V8 named as such also in documents, but the chassis number was from a Vixen s2 4 cillinder
but it was (I think) one of the best restored V8 Vixen (Tuscan) I've seen, I mean not original, but a lovely color, lovely wheels, lovely interior and engine, it was a wow for me.I wanted that one, then I heard it was for sale when I mentioned that that was the nicest one I've seen and I had many pictures from that one on my at the time FB profile, so I tried to find the for sale... was already sold after short ad on a strange way, never knew that way, but to Germany, a year or 2 later those had it for sale but for 15k more... stil ok-ish but together with my car still not sold and no extra garage here, it was to hard to give it a go, if it was for the same money he bought it I would find a way to store it for a while, anyhow, had to get that from my chest.

Hmm because it needs a good going over, particularly the chassis and brakes, carb (non OE and has two fuel supplies). IMO a car in the condition the ad describes is a 40K++ car on C&C but that’s not the car that was sold. I not sure whether you are suggesting that £33.5 is high, low or neither?
TBH it seems fair for the car as described in the detail and photos.

The only issue is this now setting the benchmark for prices and insurance values when the reality is it was at a relatively inaccessible auction and in questionable condition - both of which insurers will stick their fingers in their ears and say tra-la-la to!

if it isn't worth it to you then fine. Presumably Thats why you didn't bid!
Last week an RS500 Sierra Cosworth wasn't worth £150k and I guess you are the one that would be ridiculing the Purchaser !!
This week it seems they are worth over 500K.. maybe you just lack the foresight of others ??
