A fantastic day at Prescott last Saturday in that it was raining persistently. Of the 30 cars competing in our championship there were just 2 Vixens in a field of 30 cars. Typically in the dry we'd expect to finish around 10th on handicap (set for power & weight). However on Saturday we finished 1st & 2nd.

I know there are lots & lots of factors which affect wet weather performance. But with such a wide range of cars including Cayman S, Griff 500, Tuscan Challenge V8 (finished 3rd), Morgans (V8 & V6), Lotus Elan, Elise, MX5's & lots more, it's a definite thumbs up thumbup for Vixen handling in the wet.

If anyone is interested this link takes you to the Livestream video of the Sunday in the dry. At 6:05 you will find my last run of the day after which I finished 6th on handicap. All in a pretty great weekend.

Bravo!
The only Vixen I've seen to compete was at Sears Point here in Northern California when the circuit was tighter.
Completely unexpected to see one.
1600 cc cars of the approximate era with all the usual suspects.
The Vixen lapped the field and won by a mile (figuratively speaking - but not too much of an exaggeration).
Amazing how deep it was able to brake into the turns and - just how fast it (or the driver) was.

A bit cosmic cause I had driven my Vixen to the race!
