funny how TVR like the interior is, mean the dash and console, a bit like the Tuscan V8 SE cars with the would inlay and black leather surroundings.

price not bad indeed.

I like the overall look - definitely a car I'd consider for my 'dream' garage of 6 cars. More for long distance touring around Europe - Italian Riviera / Alps etc.

Some front ends do look better than others and the rear wheel arch gap can look too large on some.

I quite like those slot mag wheels also (guess it's personal taste) and probably era correct, although they would benefit from a refurb / polish. | think they're the same as my old 3000S wheels.

I'd be more tempted to put £40k into a Trident over probably 2 or 3 times that for a Griffith. Not that either of these options is likely to ever turn into reality. laugh

i like the slot-mags as well....but they suit better a Reliant Scimitar. biggrin

Back to Trident: the yellow car´s cooling system cannot work properly:
the mesh-grill is so tight, impossible that there is enough airflow...plus no shrouds which guide the incomming air towards the radiator, located middle inside the enginebay....i guess the fan-swtich has been set that more or less the fan runs constantly...what a botch!!!!
this car was never used properly.

by the way: what Suspension was used in those tridents? Triumph TR6?


and the red one is no better:
old / tired wiring loom in engienbay.
even fitted with bling-bling alloy radiator and e-fan...the mechanical fan (with 20cm distance to the radiator) is still fitted...technically an absolute botch.
cover on battery-plus is missing...i think Mr.Mot doesnt like that.

pedantic...i know....but for a so called "restored" car for nearly 40k one could demand a little more professionalism

The prototype and the few cars that TVR actually built themselves had a decent TVR chassis, the early Bill Last cars were built on a Healey 3000 chassis, need I say more.

Also the Trevor Fissore cars were quite beautiful. The lines were wonderful. Somehow the Bill Last cars lost that. the air vents are clumsy , the headlights look like a bolt on afterthought.
