Ian,
The car looks lovely (paint match is superb and inner wings are gleeming), Adrian was fitting her up along side mine last week, got pulled off to sort my MOT out so shouldn't be much longer I think.
I stood and looked at your rear lights for a while and just could not get used to them!
It's nice to be different though....
Supes.
Cheers Glyn - I'll be glad when it's back. I'm off work next week so I'll pop in and have a look at yours while I'm there.

The wheels look awesome....I'm going to get mine done.
Why don't you have a drive over to Virgina Waters next sunday, I'll be there with mine and a classic Aston Martin V8

The wheels do look even better in the flesh and were well worth the cost, just compare the before and after pics on my profile.
I can't make Virginia Water as I'll be on call next week and we are in the process of moving all of our systems to the Docklands most weekends till June. Thankfully, I'm not working every weekend.

Ian,
Those rims look really good. How did you have them done - blasted, diamond cut and then laquered? I was thinking of replacing mine (which are really rough) with some minilites, but having seen those am now having second thoughts. Might have to chat to Mr. V.
Kris..
Adrian got them diamond cut and then laquered. Have a look at my profile for before and after. I was also going to replace the original wheels but Adrian persuaded me to get them diamond cut. They are a little dirty in the pics from driving down from Adrians today as the roads are a little grimy - they were gleaming earlier. I'll take some proper pics later after I've washed them.

Hi Kris...They are as you say,.... a cellulose lacquer that can be wiped off with thinners and then the alloy can be polished and re-lacquered should they start to pickle, with my wheel centres (made to my design) and badges. Adrian
Adrian,
the car is running sweet - loads of other cars were slowing down and taking pics driving back home.....

In all of this, what gets me is that the of the photo's of neither Glyn's or Ian's cars show either of them off to their best (I have about 10 of each car and the camera created flaws in the images, I think it was condensation on most of Ian's and in the case of Glyns, reflections of the yellow colour upset the camera). Glyns yellow colour is far from "custard" and the Lotus blue of Ians car has had everyone who's seen it Green with envy...it make me see red.

When I get chance I'll wash the car properly and take some decent photo's.
