Vixen Door Frames.

I need some advice on fitting the aluminium door frames back into my doors. I'm just curious to know if there is anything that should be sandwiched between the two as a sort of weather seal?

If I remember rightly, there was a smearing of a black mastic type substance on the top edge when I dismantled the doors about 2 years ago. Is this the best solution?

The product you need is Auqaseal roof and gutter sealant....they don't make it for anyone else....700% elasticity and white spirit based, we have been using it for 20 years...it is difficult to find and not cheap (we buy it in boxes of 12) and use it everywhere the factory used the black Gum-Gum.
