vixen engine mounts
Discussion
exhaust side is shorter than carb side . . .I dont think theyre MK1 or mk2 Cortina . . . .theyre longer then that, are they possibly early MK1 Capri? the later capri ones were cylindrical bushes with studs as opposed to a rectangular bonded bush onto the bracket bolted to the block.
one collapsed over xmas . . . .its now been replaced with a MK1 Cortina item . . ..c/w wooden spacer!

I would recommend getting one of the Vixen Parts Manuals from the TVRCC - a good source of information - I got mine from the North American chapter but believe it's also available from the UK. A couple of parts suppliers for classics advertise in Sprint (TVRCC mag)- they have been extremely helpful - Exactly TVR (www.exactly-tvr.demon.co.uk/) and David Gerald TVR (www.davidgeraldtvr.freeserve.co.uk/).
Ive found the part Nos from John Uphams website, the 1300 OHV rule may work . . . .but I have several different size mounts, all from OHV engined cars, it depends on the cross member, the Vixen obviously doesnt have a cross member, and theyre different sizes to offset the engine (to get the manifold clear of the chassis I think)
Ive decided to cut and reweld some MK1 Capri mounts I have laying about as they have removable rubbers, rather than bonded ones and look much stronger, as well as being easily replacable
