Well, I would have done if the left hand indictators hadn't packed up on the way home last night and I didn't really fancy trying to find a dodgy earth in the blizzard conditions this morning. I have that pleasure to look forward to this evening.

Remember, it's never a problem!

It may be a challenge, or an opportunity, but surely never a problem - thats the joy of ownership eh!

You just wait until you get yours back on the road!

It's never a problem until its bucketing down with rain, your electrics have packed in and you're standing by the side of the road trying to find a duff earth connection with a torch that is running out of juice, all the time being soaked by a juggernaut every thirty seconds.

Having said all that, I wouldn't swap mine for something dull. My life would seem so empty

having spent last year sorting the Ford, I was expecting a slightly easier ride of things this year . . . .obviously not, at least its all simple stuff . . . .and my electrics are now SORTED!

What happened with the Cortina Joe?

Oh, and if your electrics are now sorted, would you mind popping round and having a look at mine

Sometimes its a fine line between 'endearing idiosyncrasies' and wanting to drop a match in the tank....

Thats precisely it Kris, I have no idea what i'm going to do with myself when it's back up and running.

Imagine the thought of having to create 'opportunities' to keep you busy!!

I think you are getting unduly worried. If you use it, it'll break. I just lost yet another halfshaft UJ.... which is something like my 10th all told in 4 years of ownership. Oh to have smooth roads without potholes......

I left the MK1 in the pound at Broadbridge Heath Vauxhall dealers ( I had a hire car for work stuff) when I went to collect it someone had pinched the high capacity rad, cooling fan, twin 40's manifold, filters, linkage the lot! they also liberated a few cars and a load of bits from the dealer!

not a happy bunny

Hmm, I can understand you might have been a little bit annoyed when you found that out. What did the dealership say? Stunning.

Unbeleivable! Not good news at all - will the missing bits be covered by the dealers insurance?

fortunately yes, they had a load of stuff and a car liberated so I put my claim in with theirs.
