One and all,

At Pistonfest this July, there is a scrapheap challenge, where the object is to dismantle as much of a car as possible, with different points being awarded for each part of the car.

This surely sounds right up our street, i'm sure most here will be used to pulling things apart, so what do you all think about starting up a team. We need 6 people to do it, so any interest?

More details are here:

I suspect us classic owners have a huge advantage as I doubt whether owners of newer TVRs know the difference between a spanner and a screwdriver. If the car was a 3000M, I could get the body off in 20 minutes

Put me on the reserve list as age isn't on my side any more but I'm wiling to make up the numbers if needed.

how about a team that can put all the bits together; otherwise it's years of work ahead for this lonely boy who wants to smell the circuit again,

Dear Mr Wymeersch,

I have a spare 3000S going cheaply if you want to be certain about not breaking down on the way to Zolder this year

My dear lad,
If I remember correctly there was one red 3000S breaking down simultaneousl y- admittedly it made it to Zolder because there was a better mechanic on board.
Wouldn't it be smarter to throw those two together and make one furiously fast S out of them, scaring the wits out of a certain gentleman from Yorkshire ?
PS how cheap?

About 4000 kilo of Belgian chocolate or €8000, whichever has less calories.

Anyhow, back to the plot. Any other 'Classicalists' fancy dismembering a Sierra?
