Hi. Saw this and thought someone might like the look of it. I'm sure it's a known car.

http://4322.ecarlist.com/web/used/TVR-Cerbera-1998...

I know a few of the details but best to contact them directly. I think it sold at auction for $15k but the buyer pulled out..They offered it to me before it goes back to auction for nearly twice that...thanks!

Hope it catches someones eye.

This car was Faisal's car, has been listed on Ebay TWICE now. Is totally not legal, and cannot be legally registered.

It is a non running crusher bait. Even as a track car it would be cheaper to buy ione in the UK.

I made them an offer, they can never sell this to an American and not get sued

The first question any potential buyer of this car should ask, show me the paperwork of who actually performed the EPA and DOT certification and the actual certification by both of those Federal entities for this car? Without those, it is a fancy piece of art for your garage or track only, it will never be legal for the street until the 25 year exemption kicks in. Cavet emptor!

I talked to Faisal multiple times years ago when he was running the car. Why does he not have it anymore? Know any details?

I didn't see a price but do you know what they are asking? While it may be cheaper to source one in the UK, I think this would be a far more convenient and less of a headache if you wanted to buy this one for track use only.

I think it sold for $20K or so, but I pity the fool that bought it unless they live in Canada or elsewhere outside the States.

If you wanted to import a Cerb for track use only, it would have to scream out 'I can only be used safely/practically on a race track' to the CBT inspectors. There's a not so funny story about a guy importing a very expensive track-focussed Ferrari that the CBT guys used every trick in the book to prevent entering the country. One test involved rolling a Coke can under the car - if it made it, it was considered a road car?!? I think the fear is that they only have control at the borders and they know that some states are a little loose on registration laws, so potentially every 'race' car could be another car that they have to try and track down and crush if used on the streets.
