He drove for Thames Racing Services last year at Brands Hatch, he finished in the top 10 then. Noticed my old friend Rod Barrett is helping out. Rod has also helped Darren Dowling in the past and of course JCW.

Some of you may actually know Jay (Jason) from track days. He instructs at Bedford Autodrome amongst other places and he used to instruct at the MaxTrack days. The impressive thing for me was that he was running a car on tyres retrieved from other teams bins because he couldn't afford new ones! There's a major opportunity for a sponsor to get in there, help him out and get their logos at the front of the grid. Someone give him the boost he deserves!

We have Emmet O'Brien to thank for Jay's Tuscan debut. He was suppose to be racing one of Steve's Tuscans last year. I got O'Brien a job a Bedford last summer. He then introduced Jay to Steve and Wayne (Phelan file fame). I don't know Jay that well, but I think Wayne has helped in this year and Jay is driving Wayne's old car from last year. O'Brien drove for me last year, but he was replaced by Phil Moreton. O'Brien is currently racing Formula Ford with Aztec (some way off the pace!). Just think what Jay could do if he was in a Countdown or Blower car, he would be very hard to beat!

The first thing i have to say is "CONRATULATIONS". Jay has certainly shown everyone that if you want something badly enough you can get it. Unfortunatly I haven't been present at his races but from the reports and the races I have seen on T.V. he is certain for stardom with his proformance so far on a very limited budget to date. This guy has car control that I think many other drivers only dream of having....so teams and drivers keep your eye on this guy because he's the name that will be hitting the headlines from now on. Give it large Jay
