Slightly off topic but Kunos have announced that the British GT pack will be released for Assetto Corsa Competizione later this week as paid DLC on the PC.

I must admit this game has got me more into GT racing, makes me appreciate the skill the drivers have in putting in consistent fast laps every lap.

Will definitely help me memorise who's who in British GT! I'm fairly familiar with the top drivers are in the international GT series are I couldn't really name you any British GT drivers despite attending 3 races in the past 24 months!

Hopefully the game will encourage more people to come attend the races, especially if like last year's its one of the only sporting events that allowed spectators.

Yes that is correct. I was aksed to sponsor this too, but with my other GT commitments it was just pushing things a bit too far this year.

This probably needs a completely new 2021 thread, but I thought I would post it here.

Just wanted to say that I’m looking to be at Brands Hatch in a couple of weeks and am looking forward to it very much. It will be my first live motorsport of the year, and the first time I’ve been to a BGT event, so pretty exciting.

If I can, I’ll be there for the Saturday and Sunday, so hope to see some of you guys there.

Who is ready for Brands Hatch this weekend then?

A bit of a preview below if you're not up to speed with the state of the 2021 championship.

I'm there on Saturday helping to run a car in one of the support races. Haven't been to Brands for about 15 years and can't actually remember the last time I saw British GT cars "live".. may have been the late 1990s... Looking forward to it!

It's my local track but I'll be under my M3 on Saturday and that means I'll probably need to spend some time with the family on Sunday biggrin Looking forward to attending a race later in the year.

The GT3 cars sounding awesome today. Stood on the inside of the track just after Hawthorns, you can feel it reverberating in your chest. Good to be back at some live motorsport.

Was good to be back at the track today and a blistering effort from Andrew Howard and Jonny Adam in the Beechdean AMR to take pole for the race tomorrow.

Qualifying report is here https://www.gt-report.com/2021/05/22/british-gt-br...

The race is live from 13:20 tomorrow and can be watched live at the following link.

The start was a complete mess. Shame as the amount of cars it took out made the field seem very sparse. Similar situation to Donington really.

Was suppose to be at Spa for this, this was going to be the year we did the Spa 24.

Still always next year!

No UK coverage this year - I guess as eurosport has the olympics they won't show it.

Missed the british gt at spa last weekend, so will watch that over the weekend too!
