While I am keen to see more entries, I'm not sure that this is a good idea.........

I do think it is really good to see more cars but are they the right the ones I think that the mini and the Golf plus the Clio look too much like saloon cars. Im very happy that the team who were to run the two Darrains were not allowed to race them. What do you lot think then???

In Belcar (the Belgian GT championship) there is a huge mix of classes (4 of them actually). This means a BIG grid of 48 cars last weekend for the season opener at Zolder and hopefully more as the season is getting on. This format is a crowd puller. It works and should be adapted. It's cheaper than a lot of the common GT format and people like it because there's plenty of overtaking going on on the circuit. So yes, the more the better. A Golf doesn't stand a chance against the Moslers or TVRs but it add's for it's own good.

I agree with Hansgeard, the sport has been marking time for too long, attempts to broaden public interest need to be made and encourage them to turn up at live races.

How many PH members have never been to a Motorsport Race of any type F1,GT's or even club racing??? 70% maybe more??
