Can't think of a better place to be than Road Atlanta on a beautiful day like today.

3 Penske RS Spiders this weekend....oh and three flying lizards......obviously if you leave a pair of Porsche along for a couple of days you get another one!

Barwell Aston but sadly no Bell Aston so no competition for the GT1 vettes.

Just for you smile

The Zytek/Ginetta was running some good times today.

A few night pics too.

The #7 Porsche was running with F1 style wheel covers rather than 50's white walls as it appears in this pic.

Qualifying today saw the #3 with Johnny O at the wheel set the GT1 pole despite the aerodynamic changes to the front.........

Overall pole went to the Pug.

Corvettes new driver failed the first test.....he couldn't fit through the door!

A few pics from the race yesterday.....

Race start.

The winning Audi despite giving the field a 2 lap head start after McNish binned the car spectacularly on his grid formation lap!

Vettes ran like this pretty much for 5 hours until a broken throttle linkage finished the chances of a class win for the #4 car.

Not a good place to spin.......

Peugeot seemed fast at times but didn't have the same luck / pace as the Audis.

One of the Tafel Ferraris

Loads of "Georgia red clay dust" attached to the front of one of the Flying Lizards.

Barwell GT2 Aston was running well until it retired with loss of drive out near Turn 6.

Aucott Ferrari, a regular at European events making an excellent fist of Petit.

That was yesterday. Race starts today at 16:05 UK time. All live on IMSA tv, if you live outside of the USA.
