Just about to fill out the 2003 application forms for my MSA licence. This will be the first season that I've competed, so please excuse the ignorance, but am I right in thinking that I should be applying for a Non Race National B licence to compete in Hill climbs and Sprints? If this is correct, am I also right in thinking that I only have to fill in my personal details, what licence I am appling for and remember to include the appropriate fee (£30.00) as there is no need for a medical? I'm just asking as I don't want to balls it up Thanks in advance, Simon.

Right on both counts.

Simon, I've just done the same (applied for my my license).

IIRC you wont need a medical as it's a non-race your applying for.

For sprinting/hillclimbs make sure you tick the SPEED catergory non-race Nat. B box.

Other than that you should be ok.

Good luck with the racing

Well, I've done it. Quite a big step really, I've been talking about it for ages, but tonight the competition licence application has gone in the post box. I suppose I'd better finish the car now I think this might be fun!
