Does this work in a similar way to the Nat B licence then, eg you can run as a Nat A novice once you have a full Nat B licence. Im only asking because a friend runs in the mighty mini series and he said you need to get 10 signatures after gaining the full Nat B licence to ugrade to the Nat A.
Simon is first and so far the only sports car racer to make the last 6 in the BRDC young driver award.
To go further Simon needs good backing to compete in the Tuscan Challenge. A well known dealer has already offered Simon the use of their front running car running with the most successful TVR team.
If you can help Simon by sponsoring him in the Tuscan Challenge.
Please e-mail Simon at:

Hi holbrook and MikeE
you will find a Tvr challange car new or used by ringing John Read at Tvr on 01253509028 he will let you know who got what and how much.
I would like to say well done Simon on winning is 1st championshipand hope to see him in a Tvr next season .
The aero kits will change next year on the Tuscans with the new rules. so no more bolt ons. This is for Ted Tvr will take away the ECU AFTER EACH RACE not the engine.New people will get extra testing when this rule comes intoforce ,so if you whant to join the challange you dont have to worrie about time in the cars.

For those of you who are wondering why Bert Taylor's knowledge of the TVR Tuscan Challenge is so good, check out www.cdlracing.com. He is the Managing Director of the team that has just won the championship.
For those of you contemplating a season or even a couple of races in the challenge next year, call him. The CDL boys are some of the nicest in the Tuscan paddock.
Congratulations Bert, a well deserved Championship win and third in the table too. :-)

no the new engine will turn up at your place of work with an ECU with 1-2 hours of preset life from Tvr. You then can run the engine at mallory park in the morning of wenesday for £75 which makes good sense because we dont race there and you dont want to go round all day wearing your car out.New competitors
will get extra test days arranged by Tvr at the begining of the season and during the season if you need it. TVR TUSCANS have bread some very good drivers for GT racing .Has you may all know this years champion has just had a test in the speed12,so as you can see TVR back there champions Caine,Mckellar,Bvr all Tuscan driver

thats useful and shows TVR are trying to make the series more accessable to ppl, but what i meant is that should you do work on the car during the season will you be able to start the car prior to taking the car out of the workshop. i cant see this being easy if u dont have an ecu available.

Already spoke to John, and he did not point me at anyone with cars for sale ..
Very nice guy though. I hope everyone involved in the championship is as helpfull as he is !
Speak to Rod Barret at Hawthorns - he told me there was a good 1998 car (ohlins, data logger etc.) for sale recently......better hurry though 'cos I might buy it once I've sold the S6.
