Well done to everyone today for a top effort. A few 'challenges' presented themselves during the course of the race including running out of cars at one point

Very entertaining day out and great to see PHers teaming up for the event.

Blooming knackered....and all i did was stand around and faf about a bit. Not like Ed who got to sit down for most of the day! Lazy Scamp

Particular mention to those who worked on Richards front wheel...Wonderful to see Pistonheaders in action

I'm not sure he'd agree with you on that...

Cheeky bugger!

I need to get back down the gym - that was hard work!

Thanks to everyone who helped out, it was great to be part of the PH team, and it's a shame that the final result doesn't really do justice to the amount of effort that everyone put in.

Then again, considering we didn't have any working cars at one point, I think it's pretty amazing that we actually saw the chequered flag at the end!

With little one about wasn't able to stay in one place for too long, but great to see the PH cars about! Thought the Ginetta was involved in the off at the bottom end about 15 minutes before the end, but I think all turned out well. Top entertainment, brilliantly diverse range of cars about, and special thanks to Ted again for the tickets! Well done to all involved - going again next year?

Worth noting the classic TVR team came thrid overall and first in their class apparently, outstanding achievement!

Well I've just got home after tucking the car up in its garage..

I'd have to say im quite proud of our little team.

All volunteers who had in the main have only ever met on the PH forums, we pulled together brilliantly. It would have been easy a couple of times during the race to call it a day as we went from 4 cars to 3 to 2 to 1 to 0 to 1 to 0 to 1 to 2 !!!

but did we? NO we found away and got back on the track and made it to the end, and as they say "To finish first, first you have to finish.." we'll we've managed the finish bit so plenty to build on..

So here's to Team PH.. well done lads and thanks "It was emotional"

More when i've had some sleep.

Cheers

Graham

Many thanks again to all that came to help out and support. I think that I may have a few aches and pains in the morning, but all worth it.

With two dead cars after an hour, a totalled front wheel bearing after 75 mins, and Ed's car ahem developing a mystery electrical fault after we made him tripple stint, a great achievement to finish.

Special thanks to Dom and the rest of the team who beat my front halfshaft oval so that we could get the bearings to seat on it again - haven't dared to inspect the region yet .

Didn't finish with the best handling car on the planet (fortunately it was turning right quite well though), but its still working and a great testamony to the never say die attitude shown by all involved.

Thankfully for us that was a different Ginetta, but it gave us all a bit of a scare when they announced it over the tannoy !!!

Although I was following said red G27 when he spun from nowhere on the run down to Maggotts. Real days of thunder moment of closed eyes and foot down to get past.

Any incident there wouldn't have been a good end to the day
