Looks like we may have a chance at the outright win then!

I reckon the driving order should be:

Tony - 5 hours, 50 minutes
the rest of us - 1 lap each

That ok with you Tony?

Ed, love to....but no thanks, be more than happy to do the odd stint though if you want. No reason why we can"t go for the outright win then ?

Tony.

I'd love to have Tony along in the radical but i think we'll be struggling enough to get the entry with the mix of cars we've got already

To be in with a chance i've got to get the entry in by the end of the week and come up with a good reason.

I think we stand a 50/50 chance as the moment...

The 750 Club prefer teams of like cars i.e mg / tvr/ radical/morgan or aston ect.

I have a few ideas that should help us though

G

edited to say. Tony Didnt we do the Ards day together on one of Steve L's full ards day thingys at sillystone..

Graham,

Entry form went in the post yesterday (complete with cheque ), so you should receive it this morning.

Are we still looking good to get the team entry in by the end of the week?

Graham,

You should be OK getting the entry in with 4 drivers, and 2 TBC. I did this a few years ago, and they were happy with this.

Just a Thought but im looking to put a team together for the Birkett 6h relay race on sat 30th October.

If Ted approves how about a PH Team.. We need 4-6 Drivers with cars and some helpers..

So Far I've Got 2 myself in the Tasmin and Dom in his mg Midget

does any one else fancy this...

THe cost is 900 quid split between the drivers.

The competition is very mixed and based on a handicap system. they take the fastest lap by each driver in his own car at silverstone and work out how many laps you should do in an equal share of the time. That is then used to calculate free laps on top of the scratch team.

the winning team is the most free laps plus actual laps. there are also class winners.

the competition is from pre war aston gp cars to radicals!!!

To try to be competitive you need long stints win minimum stops but this tends to be governed by fuel capacity...

If Teds up for it plus some drivers ( mmm does Ted have a licence?) all We'd need from PH is plenty of Stickerage !!!!

Cheers

G
havent read all this thread but if you are still looking for potential drivers with cars i would be up for it. nat b, integrale evo, and silverstone is my best circuit! pete.

Nothing that couldn't be sorted with a liberal distribution of tenners Stig .

Here's hoping re the entry - car is still in bits on the garage floor at the moment - But have been promised brand new chassis this week, so should be testing again in a month.
