I think hes doing the job of someone whos been called in at the last minute personally
Im trying not to criticse the coverage after the lateness of the deal, but the re-cap is far too detailed and all they need to do is quickly show any major moments!
55 minutes to SS14

is he running in some sort of safety car capacity??
Just got WRC radio on.
Is that George Donaldson on WRC radio at the stage ends?
Talking about stage times being radioed back to Rally HQ.
The pinacle of motorsport with (out their) satellite based timing system, reduced to the level of paper and pens. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.

here's only one stage on day four so don't hold your breath!
That's day 5. You can plot the demise in stages in Rallycourse books. You can just be amazed at all the stages they did when it lists them all in the back.Or you can plot it in the fact that Rallycourse isn't published any more.

Hmm, yeah, and sadly neither is Martin Holmes' Pirelli Annual........Or you can plot it in the fact that Rallycourse isn't published any more.
Saying that, but I'm reasonably optimistic about the future...the NOS issue is actually good news.
Yeah if VW get it together that would make 4 manufactures in the running. Plus if the s2000 teams can be tempted to join the WRC it would make quite alot of teams competing and would be great.
Although I want Petter to do well, I also want the Mini's to come good too. But that sound of the Mini anti-lag is violent beyond reason.

In what way?We have already seen a massive drop in the quality of the highlights program, Were hardly getting any In-Car camera views, They have missed a ton of action, Over half the program is spent reviewing previous days, We have 1 in-car angle, Weve lost Virtual spectator (Yeah Simulcam is cool but only covers a limited area while Virtual spectator could cover entire stages if you wanted it to) plus we have Carlton Kirby putting on an dreadfull voice over (Despite what he says he isn't even a fan of motorsport so does no preperation hence why he makes so many mistakes).
This is basically the IRC coverage model (There even using the IRC crew & equipment) & I've never liked there IRC coverage so I guess its no surprise im not liking this.
What North One Sport had planned for the coverage this year would have been 1000x better than what were going to get from Eurosport. They had lots of live online coverage planned, had upgraded a lot of there camera equipment & HD coverage was planned, Thay had a ton of in-car cameras included a ton of different angles, ever car carried an in-car camera & there in-car cameras recorded to media inside the car (the Eurosport units are all live so rely on where the helecopter reciever is & if director has that cars unit live on the mixing desk) so everything was caught from at least an in-car.
We only saw Ogier's crash from the fan-cam, had North One been covering this event we would have got a couple different in-car angles (As most cars carried 3 in-car units giving different angles).
If the coverage continues like this through the year then wrc has lost a long time viewer/fan
