I heard the above too!

Just seen that touring car legend Yvan Muller will be out in a Mini WRC on the French round. Should be interesting smile

On the topic of Sordo, his MINI WRC (from this rally assuming he doesn't bin it) is up for sale.
Prodrive are asking £300k

Never been raced or rallied, one careful owner....

My predictions

Sordo
Loeb
Maybe JML

even if he does bin it, they will still sell it. but only after its been raced in France and Spain.
Sordo being a asphalt specialist i cant see there being much issue with damage. unless he has a massive off.

i'm going

Loeb win

then the battle for 2nd will be a 3 way with Mikko,Petter and Jari. though i suspect Mikko will pip them after the ford boys make errors in pushing too much. or getting to the last stage decide to settle for what they have and please Malcolm/Ford.

Would love to see Sordo win a round, would be delighted for him. However I cant really see it happening, it all looks too familiar I'm afraid and I'm going for a handy enough win for Loeb.

12:13 Stage three suspended

The stage has now been officially suspended while Martin Prokop's Ford Fiesta RS WRC is cleared after catching fire. Just to reitterate, the crew are out of the car and are OK.

Not seen any pictures yet.

Hi chaps. Just wondered what website/YouTube channel is best to keep an eye on for the latest video coverage of the WRC?
Cheers

Best of Rally(e?) live.
Its an official one, they cover every rally. Annoyingly short videos but very well shot videos with driver interviews.
Failing that Motors TV.

Glad to hear they are ok. I guess it means they are another crew out of Rally GB though.

WRCforeva on youtube has the motors TV coverage the day after it has been on TV.

EDIT:

Unless he breaks down Loeb will win by miles.

The punto is from stage 1, Mittmosel from the section in the vineyard.

Loebs 3 wheeling is from the same stage from later in the day, but down in the village section.

The e36 (that spent the entire rally sideways) was from Stage 10 Stein & Wein, on a section of track near the town of Thomm.

The final picture of Loeb is from stage 15, circus maximus in Trier town centre from our grandstand in front of the Porta Nigra!

Or does this mean that Prodrive are not competing in WRC next year with MINI and are just after the best results they can get this season?

I think it would be great if they split with MINI and joined forces with Subaru again! Stick Petter back in it too! (unlikley though). It would also be great to see Meeke back on the WRC grid.
