Delecour - just hats off for this man. Some 2nd and 3rd stage times, getting used to a new car and if you look at the 4th day results alone, it's a very interesting comparsion: http://www.ewrc-results.com/leg.php?e=3363&s=2...

It's a shame Citroen Racing can't make a decent road car!

I've just rejected Citroen DS3 Racing #2 with the same engine fault as the first one, and I'm not alone.

What did the dealership say about the ruined vinyls?

They never got back to me about them come to think of it, I'd forgotten all about that!

I really hate Leob slowly catchy monkey attitude to WRC sure its most sensible way to win a championship with slowest times possible for maximum points but really dull to watching him drive, he mostly picks up where others fall off.

Sure his mighty talented but also bloody boring too

Latvala going very fast then crashing isn't unusual. Warm, dry weather meant this year's Monte was almost entirely a tarmac event. Loeb is almost unbeatable on tarmac and Sordo is known as a tarmac specialist.

Also INB4 hurr durr bring back group B.

What would you do in his position though ? Banzai everything a la McRae and hope for the best ?

Lobe should have been beaten year before last when he won by one or two points. Miko would have pipped
him that year if Ford had used team tactics properly and made Latvala give up a place to Miko ?
Who is this Lobe you talk about?

On your other point, I hate seeing tactics enforced - if you're not good enough to win in the first place then you don't deserve the win by way of tactics......a certain Mr Solberg has quite strong feelings on this too. Tactics should be banned in my opinion with rallies and championships won on merit not fudged results.

Ah, Martin Rada, quite a good result from him - few times I saw him on our local rallies and it's a very slow car indeed. I never understood why he drives with it when commonly used Civic's VTI are quicker even if they are one class below. Must have strong soft spot for it i suppose smile

I used to be a massive fan and enthusiast for rallying, but for me it all went downhill when McRae, Burns, Kankunnen, Sainz et al all retired.

Loeb is a fantastic driver, but it's all just a bit boring now
What he said.

Someone also uploads the (rubbish) Eurosport shows a couple of hours after they've been on TV, get'em quick though because they are taken down again after a couple of days.

Wonder how much of a factor loeb's dominance has been to the decline of the WRC.

Its not a nostalgia thing pining for the excitement of, say, Solberg vs Gronholm. Any sport suffers when one individual dominates.

I dont take anything away from Seb... He will undoubtably go down in the history book as one of the worlds greatest rally drivers, but his legacy will be very open to critical analysis.
It's clear to see you missed the thread on Loeb recently where this was discussed in great detail and the conclusion was reached that he is undoubtedly the greatest ever, and still faces stiff competition from Ford and other Citroen drivers. You may prefer the firey Italian styling of Miki Biasion, you may support the recklessly brilliant Colin McRae, but there isn't much of a case for describing Loeb as anything other than the greatest of all time.

Sounds like the rally is off to a good start this year. I just hope the sport can get back on it's feet.

sleepsleepsleep....any more of that Mr Loeb and you and your French team will kill the WRC off altogether!!!

No offense of course....if this type of domination happened in F1 (or many other sports) the viewers would of switched off years ago...

..Oh! a lot of them already haveyes
