Oh No.6...what have u done.

R u . Gone totally . Or just plain ???

I fear the force will not be with u...and from now on be known as ob6willnotbe.

In fact...with that sort of thing going on in your garage, some may suspect u've already gone over to the dark side.

So now 13.5 has everything going for him...including a lightweight car worth 1/2 a second a lap...plus, rumour has it, a slightly lighter weight body to boot...worth another .001 seconds !?!?

And u've handed him back the force aswell...just goodbye to that opportunity of showing the old(er) the way home.

griff2be, you will be driving PDQ at Thruxton when those Greenpeace "ladies" get to hear of your evil deed. They'll have yer wotsits for earings when they hear of your heartless murder of a defenceless furry person.

May the spirit of mon-keh fiddle with yer wheel nuts, or worse.

Mrs. cake-baker, griff2be needs summat in his fairy cakes, or maybe some eyedrops in his lucozade, ask an air hostess about that one, cures difficult passengers every time. Especially if the loos are locked.

At 10.30am PistonHeads.com received the following statement from Team No6’s press office:

Press statement from Team No 6:

Mon-keh

There has been speculation recently regarding the alleged assassination of Mon-keh, the soft toy credited with the recent successes of Team No 6 in the TVR Tuscan Challenge.

We are able to confirm that Mon-keh is alive and well, sitting on No6’s roll cage with Scooby Doo.

In accordance with standard industry practice, Team No6 authorised the release of misleading information regarding Mon-keh’s assassination. This was for two reasons:

- to shroud ongoing contractual negotiations with Mon-keh; and
- to yank Ex29’s chain

We note with interest that whilst Ex29 protested the alleged mistreatment of Mon-keh, he made no comment whatsoever regarding No6’s plans to take Mrs 29 out and show her a good time.

Team No6 have consulted with Mon-keh about the forthcoming Thruxton meeting. Mon-keh was reminded that he is under contract to No6 not only for the rest of this season, but also for 2005.

You can therefore imagine our surprise when we received a fax from Mon-keh’s manager this morning informing us that Mon-keh has signed with Hawthorn’s for 2005. Mon-keh alleges that certain performance criteria have not been met and thus No6’s option to renew his contract has lapsed.

We are astonished at these allegations, as we have beaten Team Baldrick on a number of occasions in 2004 – most notably at Castle Combe in the wet.

We remain confident that the International Contracts Tribunal in Switzerland will confirm No6’s contractual position with Mon-keh. In the meantime our lawyers have advised us to make no further comment about Mon-keh’s plans to drive for an inferior team, other than the following brief statement:

“Rodney Hawthorn smells of poo”

Scooby Doo today confirmed that he has signed a contract to drive for Team No6 until 2010.

Statement ends

I sit in the car, operate the pedals and do what Mon-keh/Scooby Doo tell me.

It was the same for Rod in No29 with Mon-keh. Bob Ross' car is actually driven by a stuffed banana....

I think we have him on the run folks, No:6 is finally cracking up, the nerve is going as race day draws nearer and nearer The lies continue, for I have now found a witness to the "Execution" of dear little Mon-key, may his innocent tiny soul rest in peace, who is prepared to release secret video footage of this dreadful, heartless act of brutality all I would say at this point is that after being shot, he was in fact only wounded, it was the be-heading with a blunt stanly knife that took his little life

No:6 has now sunk to such depths of depravity, It's hard to imagine if indeed there is a lower level, it's hard to make out in the video, but it looks like No:6 was, yes, I know,it gets worse, In a ninja turtle suit at the time

Have spent today collecting Car 27, will now he adding "Ben Hur" type wheels

"Ben Hur" type wheels, try "Ben Samuelson" types instead. Guaranteed to bugger your rear suspension if you come in contact with them, allegedly.

Is it true griff2be is going to Greenland on holiday soon?. I hear its seal clubbing season.

I was quite prepared to hand Monk-eh back, unharmed old chap. Seems from the above that you don't want him back...

As for the Ben Samuelson wheels - you're hoping to be close enough to my much improved pace to be alongside are you....?

As he no longer has a head, then he's just a -eh!!!, you've lopped of his "monk"

Anyway, we have a bigger problem, JR has just informed me that only one of us, ie, Jan or I can race, not both at the same meeting , do you want to have words!!!! will phone you later

Know anyone that wants a Ford cargo motorsport 18ft transporter, diesel with awning(newish) and rear tail-lift,(see pistonheads classified), all we need is a trailer or box trailer.

U can't back out of the duel @ Thruxton with No.6 now !!!...unless u are prepared to hang your head in shame, lose your title of and let No.6 go around that poor old Ex 29/maybe 27 woopsie Hawthorns chappy simply wasn't up to the challenge.

Now you mention it, I can think of a car that Uncle Rodney might fit into quite nicely . I don't know about the engine, but I understand it's that whirry thing under the flappy bit at the front.

Of course you count David. And I'm sure after the weekend we'll be slagging you off as much as we do the others currently

Especially if you use your local knowledge and beat me

I wouldn't dream of beating you...ahem!

Ok so maybe I would. I think I'd class it as a result if I finnish both races without any grass clippings on the car though. And if I can keep up with the pack then that would be a bonus! Though I might have a slight aero advantage by not having various characters attached to the rollcage!!! (alive or dead)

Hi David, nice to hear that you're coming out to play

Some progress, BRSCC have no objections to Jan and I the car together,he'll do the first race , I'll do the second one, nor do the SRO, TVR don't have a problem so it's all down to the clerk of the course and the MSA. Entries are in, car is being prepared, fingers crossed.

No:6 will like the next bit, we may have to start at the back of the grid in both races, as a kind of penalty, so he'll be safe for the first lap.

As a bit of precident - both Ginetta celeb cars were shared at the Croft round (SRO, same clerk of course as Tuscans etc).

In that one, the car qualified (as we only get one qualifying session for both races), and the grid position counted no matter who was driving at the time.

Does sound like it is only TVR that are being arsey here - which is a bit surprising really as they get another car on the grid and another entry fee by you guys sharing.

Hmm - how to rescue a racing series that is on slightly dodgy ground

So which car r u in David ?

Are u the ringer ? ....the mystery driver No.9 ???

Isn't it about the masked was unvieled...about time he surfaced...showed his metal (or fibreglass)...or was it all a figment of No.6's imagination ?????

Rich - Rod said that TVR were fine with it - its down to the CoC.

In the TVR's the grid position for Race 2 is determined by the finishing position in Race 1. If it is a different driver then the car must start from the back.

The CoC will need to be satisfied that both drivers have completed 3 laps in qualifying to be able to race. I guess where it gets complicated is determining with certainty who is in the car when it sets its qualifying time - and for this reason the car may have to start at the back for both races.

Personally I think Rod is just lining up his excuse - 'well, I started from the back'......

..... which will be nice, because that's where I started from when I beat him at Thruxton last year
