Whats very telling here is that the Mat Neal and Honda fanboys of which im sure theres as many as Platos, dont feel the need to to try to bully and intimidate like the Plato fanboys, well certainly not on this thread anyway..same as i dont see Mat Neal lowering himself to posting in threads on forums moaning like JP.....
We shall see what occurs come BH...but to JP fanboys like some of you lot if Honda win then you'll claim unfairness and if Plato wins you'll claim that the bloke who has knocked around in BTCC for 15 odd years is a driving God....

If so then my point still stands, BTCC is a joke due to boost and turbos, regardless of which car has the most and whichever race, yes if Honda had more at the start its wrong same as if MG have more at Silverstone its wrong...quite simple...
This is why i think fans should know who runs most boost as then we can understand more race to race... with balast AND boost its hard to tell who is genuinely getting better and who is stagnating....like Wrathall, one race hes the nuts..next weekend hes mid pack going backwards....is that driver mentality? and weakness? or just boost reduction?

No my only wish is for BTCC to not have this pathetic boost situation whereby a car can win due to more boost, if that's a Honda then it's crap if it's a MG it's crap if it's a Toyota it's crap... at least when Alfa ripped up the rule book in 1994 it was innovative and quite clever, upping boost isn't innovative ...
Dont forget MGJohn in your rage that the thread is titled 'Silverstone BTCC " hence why I'm discussing THAT race, which was fiddled with to the point where autosport have commented on it being a bit of a joke now... so there it is silverstone thread and I'm discussing silverstone ... cheers.

Maybe you should research just what kind of difference that ammount could make in BHP and torque ....According to sources Honda will get a boost increase for Brands Hatch due to poor showing at Silverstone. All I want to see isms close racing from top drivers. Not One weekend Hondas in mid pack... then next race Hondas up front and MG in mid pack ... BSB seem to manage fine, cracking races this weekend.
I still can't fathom how anyone can honestly say that having the Hondas nowhere at Silverstone was good for the racing... if you do it's cause you don't like Honda. But seriously I'd rather watch a race where it's close. Silverstone was a joke and only good if you are a Plato fanboy cause your deity won. For any impartial viewer it was s
te advert for apparent 'equalisation' of cars...but the fanboys will just come back with some abuse... but you know deep down I'm right, but you watch BTCC to see Plato win.. not to watch a cracking race... that's why your blinkered.

They're only 0.05 bar different in terms of increase from base, that doesn't mean the base boost level is the same though. Theoretically though, all cars should be more or less the same at standard boost.
