I don't see whats so brilliant about Kimi acting like a selfish 5 year old.

Can't see him lasting much longer, since the break he's moaned about the car, moaned about the team, moaned to the team. Looks disinterested.

RBR on another level here. Lewis went the wrong way with a late setup change that he took full blame for.
As when he was with Williams Hulk is coming on strong as the season progresses.
Senna obviously frustrated, needs a good result, the Williams doesn't look great here. I wonder if Pastor could be looking at taking his money to somewhere like Lotus next year to get a more consistent car?
Kamui got the result he needed, I can see him going to Caterham or similar next year.

Have a horrible feeling the race may end up with a bit of a bore fest, RBR scamper off up front, the rest down to mid-field struggle to make progress against each other and with a narrow track all the overtaking done in the pits ?

I agree. I know many love him to bits, but he just comes across like a bit of a cock to me. Great racer, but a bit of a cock.

She could certainly do with a bit of advice on the styling front. She's a pretty girl but her clothes never seem to flatter her.

What about the two McLarens starting well out of position?

Neither have a shot at the WDC, what have they got to lose?

I can't help but think that if they decide to 3 stop it, then they will struggle, especially on such a narrow track. I can only think that a 2 stop will be the way for them to go, and try to just make up places on track without it being such a necessary part of the strategy, so to speak.

Is that it for the stewards decisions?

I read an interview with him in F1 magazine when he came to F1, and it really helped me to understand him. He's super-intelligent (as all F1 drivers need to be) and he basically gets bored with the media bits & just wants to race all the time. He said something along the lines that we are all watching the race, everything has commentary, so why does he need to answer questions that we all know the answer too. I'd rather hear Kimi speak with refreshing honesty for 10 seconds than the usual "we had problems with the car, we're working hard, we need to do our best, thanks to the team back home etc..."

I may be doing him a mis-service as the article is packed away in a box (mid house-move) but I found it refreshing and I'm a big fan.

I don't understand this. He's been reprimanded for blocking...as in, he was blocking, but no penalty.

How many others this year have taken a penalty?

I think it's clear from my username that "Lads" wasn't going to cover it! wink

I thought a diplomatic assessment of Georgie's dress sense was better than the usual would you/wouldn't you smash her back doors in debate! As you were though lads! tongue out

What penalty should he have got?

Vergne got a 3-place drop for taking the chicane while Senna was very close behind him, causing Senna to take evasive action to avoid a collision. He caused a very severe impediment and was dangerous as well.

Vettel chose not to turn into the chicane in front of Alonso, and instead kept to the left, allowing Alonso to proceed with only a minor adjustment to his entry line. If Vettel had moved to the right, it would have been worse for Alonso.

Yes, there was some disruption. But if you compare the two cases, it would be ridiculous to give Vettel the same penalty (or even a worse penalty) than Vergne for doing something much less disruptive.

Bergen took a 3 place drop... Today... I presume that was for blocking Senna, unless it was for something else?
