Yes, McLaren are totally useless because of a mechanical problem that they couldn't predict happening... They had suspension failure in the last race, or at least a component of it. Would you not replace the entire assembly given its one of the most stressed areas of the car ?

I don't think the issue is about predicting mechanical problems. It's more about ongoing quality assurance over the build, configuration, and management of their car(s) generally. They've had quite a few problems with their cars this season. One can make the same observation about Red Bull, except Red Bull seem to have ironed out their problems now, whereas McLaren hasn't improved.

Precisely. If it was the same issue as last week, (which it doesn't sound like it was, was it?), then it is just one of those things. Both drivers have had mechanical issues of varying types, (the gearbox one being the one they maybe should have seen as it was 2 races in a row), bit I reckon it will just be easy to hurl abuse at McLaren. I think McLaren are far more dubious strategy wise, than mechanically, to be honest. I do wonder how Button would have fared had he not been accosted by the Saubers. Oh well, we will never know.

But inboard suspension is basic stuff. They can't predict it, but it should be a part of the car that just works letting them focus on set up.They have such a fast car but they don't know how to use it properly. That's why they are useless.
That guy on the bike in the paddock, what a nutter.
Seb deserved the win today. On DC's grid walk he was super laid back, everything is under his control.
I think kobacrashy robbed us of some good action from button. Lewis must be wondering what he has to do to get a break. His cars coming across all BL and the team he is goin to next year have a car that's absolutely no where. Hope he is up to the challenge.

The crest into T1 is nuts. Grosjean will have a field day with that.
