Sure the Red Bull Stratos thing is fairly awe inspiring but did Felix do the Gangnam style dance afterwards? I think not!

Webber looks somewhat less than amused.
He's grinning from ear to ear!. lol.

Massa ? where the fook was that speed the rest of the season ???
he's got form for getting quick near contract signing time. was a shame he wasn't allowed to go for a podium, but that was never going to be allowed was it.
No, it would have been stupid.

If your insinuating that Ferrari would nobble Massa's car to make Alonso look better that's just demented talk. What real benefit would that have to he team, Alonso not having a wing man has caused more issues than if Massa was up there with him....it's simply taken Massa this long to sort his head out and get some confidence back...

exactly

he was effectively running a test car to help accelerate development

now the car has improved thanks to his help and he can drive properly again

For a still emerging Nation with an apparently thriving Industrial backbone including Automotive interests, I was surprised that the race was poorly attended. Maybe interest will increase with the locals with the passing of more time.
a) track is in the middle of nowhere and hard to get to for normal Korean people.

b) the price of the ticket is something daft like the same cost as a months average wage for a Korean worker...

that's why it's always quite empty....

I think last year they tried to give away some tickets... there's a big divide in wealth over there.

No I'm not you blinkered pathetic excrement stirrer. One final attempt to educate you with a verbal diagram.

It is quite possible that the No.1 driver always gets first call on the best bits or best car when they become available and if there's only one 'best bit' or upgrade available......

I'm utterly fed up with your pathetic decadent excrement stirring on these threads.

Please do not respond to any of my postings ever again.

It's in the middle of nowhere and the tickets are too expensive for local pockets and it is hardly an international draw like Singapore, Abu Dhabi or Melbourne.
Except people on here moan about Singapore and Abu Dhabi as well.

It seems unless it's a wet field somewhere in Northern Europe then some folks will moan it's not a propr race circuit.

The annoying thing is Valencia was a great track to view the race live, just it's rubbish on tv, Same to a certain extent with Singapore, abu dhabi etc.

Put it this was if I had to watch on race on thru FOM vision it would be silverstone/spa.

If I had to go to a track then it would be Abu dhabi/Valencia.

The facilities and general awesomeness at Abu dhabi have to be experienced! Watch out for the prices and the driving outside of the circuit tho...

Shame as it's an awesome track in many respects.
Really? Two long straights and the rest mickey mouse low speed corners? Personally I think it's dreadful.
The last sector is very good, a set of very fast sweeping bends
The track has little or no charisma. The locals don't seem too keen on motorsport.
The lack of atmosphere is undeniable but the drivers seem to think it's a good track. It also has elements that are not usually found on a single circuit with all three sectors having distinctive characteristics.

Good thing is at least the Indian circuit is a good one, and after playing it last night the track in Texas is very very good

Anyone else of the opinion mc should have stuck hamilton on the supers at the 2nd stop, they had 2 sets avaliable and that regardless of the suspension fault only someone who smokes crack would expect 28 laps from him? Or if no more usable supers, at least planned a 3rd stop rather than have him try to nurse the tyres?

It's easy to sit in a armchair and think you know better than the very clever and much better informed people how to run the team, but with mclaren it seems they miss the obvious. Repeatedly.

This is why he's leaving mc... I hope merc can give him the focussed understanding, environment & support he needs.

I'd guess that they didn't quite understand how fast the suspension fault was killing the tyres.

Regardless, the track was killing the tyres anyway- evan RB were worried about vettel managing 20~ laps

So to hope for near 30 lamps from lewis tyrewrecker hamilton was stupid.

i think mclaren, with a healthy car, could have made a three stop work for LH for the win, to be honest. They would have had the red bulls choosing between being passed, pitting, or potentially retiring with a puncture/crash in the last 10 laps. Would have been interesting to see.

and yes, I thought mclaren should aim for a three stop and I said so as soon as LH pitted for the second time.

That's it!

Didn't really watch the race that much, but Massa's form continues. Good!

Shame about the Mclarens! It's looks like they've forgotten how to win a WCC/WDC.

Lewis' car looked very hard to control in the straights. Looked bloody dangerous! I had flashes of Senna for some reason watching that.

I reckon Vettel will have this WDC. (I'm the guy who said Button will win this GP before the race! Look how it turned out! irked)

So, after two races, the evidence indicates that the Red Bulls are now the class of the field by a clear margin and then some. Or are they ? They appeared to win with something in reserve recently but, with so many other car driver combinations off the pace in both races or had their participation cut short for various reasons, maybe Red Bull's superiority is not so clear cut after all.

If they are so far ahead, have the cars 'suddenly' got better or is there some other reason?

Based on the form of the last five races, bit of a mystery for me.

whats your problem?

I think lewis is superb, probably the most exciting driver on the grid. That doesn't mean I worship him and are blind to his faults, as these are the traits that make him what he is. He isn't a smooth/conservative driver, is one of the hardest on tyres, not someone you'd put on an extraordinarily tyre-critical strategy, hence my comment.

What about that is it that requires the snark?
