Heard some good things from people today. Sounds like there's some promising moves afoot.

Here's hoping

Have been quietly watching this thread.......

Agree with Griff 2be that unhelpful comments....well...they don't help.....but also see that it is a public forum and there are Tuscan racing fan peeps out there keen to see a solution too!

But Ted....how can you dangle such a large juicy carrot at us fans of the Tuscans........

That's just mean.....

Been talking to a few of the teams this week and there are some interesting deals in the offing and considerable interest in the series. Nothing to report until there's something to report though

ratpit - if you don't mind me asking - who are you? E mail me off line if you wish to preserve your anonymity.

I sincerely doubt Ted will reveal anything until there is something definite to reveal. All he is saying is that there are a number of positive moves being made to preserve and improve the Tuscan Challenge for 2005 - to keep the Tuscans in a similar format to today: with the GT package and on TV, still with slicks and sealed/leased engines - but to reduce costs for the teams/drivers sufficiently to grow the grids.

Until these efforts either definitively fail or succeed, there won't be much to say I'm afraid.

Here's hoping those efforts succeed! I haven't seen nearly as much of the Tuscans as I normally do (and would want to) this year, so I fervently hope you will all be there, with fresh blood too, to thrill me again next season.
