The photo of the "hippy" 917K is the Watkins Glen car. The 917L that ran at Le Mans was even cooler - the number roundels didn't have little lights on them, they were electro luminescent (if that's the right term) and glowed fluorescent green in the dark, to match the green stripes.
BTW, I remember the blue as being more purplish and the green more 'acid'. Did anybody else see the car at Le Mans 1970?
