2nd Race a proper Spectacle, Lowndes dead last on the grid (Tech infringement) made a few places up
also got to say BT Sports HD presentation is stunning!
20 places in 40 minutes on a small tight track that's relatively easy to defend your position on! Amazing drive by Lowndes but......also got to say BT Sports HD presentation is stunning!
Red Bull's apparent utter dominance so far this weekend doesn't bode very well for multi-team top two position battles throughout the season - I mean what happened to Scott's speed in the Volvo????
Race 6 coming up in 8 hours.

Good point.I wonder if it was fixed for the second race, I never heard it talked about, he certainly went well and 3 different manufacturers taking the top six places was great to see.
Another brilliant spectacle from the V8's despite the venue being a tiny, unknown 50sec circuit in the middle of nowhere, they could host this on an airport runway and it would still be brilliant to watch.
I switched to the F1 GP straight after the V8's and for a motor sport that markets itself as the pinnacle it was a dreary processional drone of odd looking, dull sounding cars with with little action and bored commentators.
David Coulthards "There's a raindrop on the camera lens" summed up the lack of interest on track.
Next V8 venue, Winton 400, a great track that always offers up big action, six days to go.

I've been told by my good lady in no uncertain terms that I'm not to go to any race meetings this weekend due to our impending house move. V8SC, MotoGP and F1 on the telly will be a substitute of sorts.
Loved the footage from Symmons Plains - enormous kudos to BT Sport for showing it uninterrupted in HD. The pedal cam was brilliant as well - I had no idea they were still healing and toeing on downchanges, for example.
