The Sky F1 channel has plenty of time when it could be showing other motorsport, shame they don't seem to want to
I may be wrong, but I think I heard/ read that I don't think they can. It's basically F1 and FOM series and nothing else; which is why the F1 supporting Porsche Mobil SuperCup is shown on Eurosport.

Motors TV is back on 447. I wonder how long it will stay this time.

It's all getting a bit silly. They must have paid some bills.

They can only show the events they've paid for. Each series has its own TV rights.

As drivers we pay £ 30 per event for coverage by motors TV. It's not brilliant but I always tune in and watch their coverage. The commentary is dubbed in from someone's kitchen dining room semi. They avoid off track interesting antics and faux pas by the guys trying that bit harder and sugar coat it to show the winners last lap whilst the late lunging maniacs are giving their best.
The one day race event live shows are worth watching as the edit soft boys are not involved. Much of it is just padding with interviews.
Racing is about full on fkwittery, so let's have it.

Obviously, but is there something in their deal with F1 preventing them from showing other stuff or do they just not want to? Bearing in mind that there's lots of series paying to have their content shown so it's a potential revenue stream rather than a cost.

That's the point I was making. The way I understood it was they can't show anything; only FOM series on the SkyF1 channel.

Can't imagine Bernie would want those for whom motorsport begins and ends with F1 having other series promoted to them on an 'F1' channel
