Blimey - how long were they running in those conditions? Very lucky to not have serious damage and serious injuries from any possible incident from so many out-of-control cars
It took roughly a lap and a half for conditions to change from "drizzle at one corner" to "rainaggeddon". Though, the commentators were talking about the coming rain at least twenty minutes before it hit.The Audis called it just in time and came in. The Toyotas stayed out and it cost them the race. Ant. Davidson was not a happy bunny.
There were some other shenanigans. One of the Toyotas go stuck in the gravel trap and had to be recovered under red. It was classified a lap down at the restart. Mike Conway managed to get his Toyota back to the pits unaided. His car was then classified as TWO LAPS down. Even though he had got back under his own steam.
Weird.
