Just to toss in my h'appenny's worth, in Race 1 even if Aron Smith had pulled off onto the grass, got out the car, put up a deck chair and had a kip, Plato would have got 13 points instead of 11. He lost the championship by 4 points - he still wouldn't have been champion. If he didn't have a couple of random punctures during the year he would have won. But then you could say the same about Shedden - if only his rear brake hadn't locked on in Race 2 he might have finished 7th say, instead of 20th. I thought it was all played very fair this year to be honest, with not many silly shenanigans between the title contenders.
Of course Plato v Shedden would be a moot point if Motorbase started the year...!

Surely Smith would have slowed down and slotted in behind Turks ?no idea what the points would have been.... really rather futile now....
