Alex Palou has joined Arrow McLaren, after Ganassi issued a statement he was driving for them next year.
I think Ganassi has reiterated that Palou will be driving for them next year. Interesting background at https://racer.com/2022/07/13/pruett-palous-contrac...

Only the US would do that. They are a bit very jingoistic nation, a Mexican restaurant in the US hung a Mexican flag and a US flag outside it's premises, the Mexican flag was higher than the US one and they got a lot of abuse. But go to another country and the US comes first.
I'd forgotten about this comment, but I believe that in the USA it is illegal to fly a flag next to the stars 'n' stripes that is either higher or larger. freedman said:

Jimmie drove like a man possessed, properly entertaining. It was cool to see him push the car and put the willies up some of them.
Astonished the team didn’t tell him to drop back behind Ericsson at the end, that’s not how you win Championshipscarl_w said:
I was surprised at the stat last week that Scott Dixon has matched the all-time record of Indycar wins with 52. But he has won 6 championships. Seems like a low wins:championships ratio which may indicate how unpredictable the races are.
If you are comparing it to F1 (say) there are more drivers & fewer races in Indy. But yes, there's a greater spread of winners.
