Mega race. It was a bit "F1... hold my beer! ( sorry, hold my Bud light..)"

Oh Grosjean...

Im officially calling it - Indycar is more exciting than F1 biggrin

Grosjean needs to learn that some days it’s better to accept 4th and finish in one piece.

Was called during the race Palou eased up slightly going into the turn which caught Grosjean out, just picked up a touch of understeer, harsh result, car was good yesterday

Just caught up with this race as I was out, according to Indycar there were 1070 on track passes during the race. Such a shame it didn't end under green, poor Grosjean always snatching a potato when he's inches from the chips!

It was fab. Quite seriously , and in a good way , it reminded me of massive fields of Formula Ford 1600 slipstreaming at old Silverstone GP in the 70s . But a bit faster...

Finally caught up with the Texas race a few days ago - what a thriller.

Pity the stands looked so empty though.

Indycar still hasn’t retaken the impact and public image they had before the split. Tony George has a lot to answer for.

Not the greatest of races, but still more enjoyable than F1 I feel.

Barber MSP practice and quali on Sky this evening - probably one of my favourite race tracks in top flight motorsport, just behind Spa and Donington (Silverstone comes in 4th only because it's less than 1/2 hour away and can nip there at last minute smile ).

Looking forward to this one.

Barber Motorsports track is great. I drove on parts of it with MB back in 2016. Also attached to it is the most amazing museum, especially if you like motorcycles.

IndyNXT on now.

First one I've watched live - 420hp, 2-litre turbo Dallara cars - so analogous to an FIA F3 car, more or less, I think.

A bit 'too much' even for the captive audience I think!
