Palou isn't a current McLaren driver, he drives for Ganassi.
He has/had an agreed McLaren contract for 2024.
Palou believed the one year option required agreement from both parties but it was only CGR in reality. McLaren believed they had a contract for him in 2024 and could even have run 4 cars with Rosenqvist who was likely only signed for this year as Palou had to stay at CGR. Does Indycar have a CRB like F1 does?

His "management" seem a right bunch of muppets. I expect they are being binned by Palou.
Yup, dumped them.

Marcus Ericsson leaving Ganassi to race for Andretti next year, joining (if he's still there) his ex F1 rival Romain Grosjean.

Grosjean was quoted as saying "fking Ericsson"

Oh man, Newgarden stuffing in the wall the chance to be the first driver for 100 years to win every oval race on the calendar.

Dick move from Grosjean on Illot in practice. Sweary Grosjean bumped out in the first phase of qualifying, seemingly put in his place by team management. Confirmed that Grosjean leaving Andretti at the end of the season, so corporate PR in public no longer required.

6th place and good points there for Jamie Chadwick, managing to stay out of trouble in a chaotic race.

Well done to Louis Foster on the win.

It would seem no one wants Grosjean.

Yes...it seems that the combination of

1. Going all out for wins when it's more prudent to accept second/third/fourth/etc

and

2. Being all petulant about it when things go wrong

Has worn out 'The Phoenix's' welcome in the U.S.

Shame - Grosjean is fast on his day but he just can't hold it together in his head.

He might go back to Coyne, but I would imagine he'll be more likely to go with a full time Sportscar programme with Lamborghini?
