That was an impressive and nasty looking wheel failure.

Turbulent air, difficult to pass, tyres going off quickly. Sound familiar?

Oh and Fuel saving on lap 1?

I thought this was supposed to be balls out racing from lights to flag?

America! F*ck yeah!
It's difficult to watch any American sport without this popping into your head, the Indy 500 it happens about 3 times a minute hehe

Having said that, how bloody amazing are those camera vantage point (with sound!) on the corner exits!

Alonso is busy luring the rest of the race into a false sense of security - his cunning plan has him curently in 27th, having started 26th.

No-one will see his plan to win coming from back there.....mwah-ha-ha-haa. No-one expects the Spanish Inquisition.

I'm quite glad about the lack of Alonso hype this year.

The gearing is insane - Rossi was losing / gaining 400 rpm going up to 6th / down to 5th, at ~ 220mph.

It's nice you can actually see what's happening during a pitstops. Sometimes faster is not necessarily better.

Those of us in Central Indiana are able to watch live on TV for the first time in decades.

Oops, there goes our local hero, Conor.
