The problem is that the safety car always makes it a bit of a lottery. I wonder when the last Indy 500 that had no crashes in was? If ever?

I doubt it’s ever happened. This is so far, a pretty long stretch of green IIRC.

Oh man, if I was a commentator I’d have properly cursed that.

Veejay's blown it after all the chat about disrupting Ganassi.....

...hopefully he's ok.

Palou was really feathering the throttle to keep it stable just ahead of Veekay there.

I think kid prefer the US commentary, I don’t suppose Sky offer that option?

The UK commentary is during the US ad breaks. Of which there are a lot.

I believe the UK team only chime in when the US is on an ad break.

Edit: Tom Gaymor - incredible that he has a job using his voice when it is so annoying. Thankfully he has stopped say “errr” after every other word.

Me too, I was very close to going with Mrs. Guitar in 2018, but even with the headstart of being in NYC, it was still looking like a very expensive weekend. We'll do it at some point though.

Palou terribly unlucky with the caution there,

Big hit on the inside for Ilott.

I had tickets and accommodation booked for the 100th running of the Indy 500, however Miss Badger and I conspired to inadvertently conjure a girl child and she was due a couple of weeks after the race. We had to cancel and haven't been back since.

Yes, he's really taken a dislike to the right hand side of his car. It must have really upset him somehow.

Dammit. Recorded the wrong channel and missed the first 35 laps.

I doubt they’d be doing so well with him in the team. He applies too much pressure on teams.
