I can't deny history.
The Thruxton chicane didn't do the set up any good but my goodness it was quick up Woodman Hill into the chicane, 155 mph +.
That day brings memories of a huge qualifying spin round the back of the circuit at Village when I disappeared into the grass which was so long I was lucky to find my way back on circuit. It did nothing to help my confidence.
Nice photos below of Gareth Evans white Tuscan, possibly with Carl Hansen (from New Zealand) driving that day and then David Mason leading Chris Stockton.
