Local TV coverage has had a big shake up, even though it was only day 1 practice we had 9 hours broadcast live, every support race was featured (cracking line up) with in-car cameras for each series and we had a full commentary team featuring Mark Skaife, Neil Crompton, Russel Ingall, Greg Murphy and the Lovely Riana Crehan.

If you get coverage then make sure you watch the Stadium Trucks race, bonkers stuff........

I stumped up the £21 for a years subscription to their Superview service. Streamed to Apple TV through the iPad. Quality is HD (though not 1080P).

Handy being able to watch it when I want. Cheaper than BTSport.

I did the same just now, the quality is really good. Well worth 21 quid.

Well race 2 was worth the £21 in itself smile

Race 3 also sounds interesting based upon what my mate who works for LDM has been posting on Facebook.

I think it was utterly ridiculous to still need to take the fuel even with the shortened race.

I did the same too! Much better than motors coverage and no adverts too. Well worth £21 to watch when you want and stream on Apple TV.

Race 3, 37 degrees followed by biblical rain

Another great day, fantastic racing in all categories combined with brilliant production

For those without £21 down the back of the sofa here's brief highlights (contains some results)

Cracking race loved the rule about fuel it showed if you understand your rules then you can make a good strategy call.

Great racing & car control by the drivers.

Can you watch it when you want, i.e. delayed?
Does the app/website have spoilers? (i.e. is it 'safe' to browse to find the race to watch post-event?)

Ta!

Yep. They show it live at the time and then full reruns of the race without adverts. Just no pre show or after show on the races I watched. Yes the website does have spoilers but click straight on to superview.

Motors TV will be showing V8 Supercars this weekend so I can watch it again, but I'd also recommend the superview as you'll also get the weekly Inside V8 Supercars which is also a good watch.

No coverage here this weekend, Bernie won't allow it in case viewers discover that V8 Supercars are so much more exciting than F1.

Highlights are normally up on Youtube 24 hours or so after the race

This is a non championship round so no official points allocated.
