Surpised this hasn't been spoken about more recently https://www.autosport.com/wrx/news/134257/world-rx... It appears that the headline category will be electric from 2020. Supercars will still race but still frown
I don't know whether to laugh and look to see if its April 1st or just shake my head in utter disbelief.........

The Retro Rallycross events will become very popular after 2020......

Whats boo about it?

As long as you don't go to the Speedgarbage later on it is fine to attend a normal rallycross meeting there.

I will be there as the tracks loks interesting and the entries are good, but it will be very interesting to see what the viewing will be like.

I was there too, bloody freezing but I thought it was a great day and a fairly decent turnout considering the weather. The supernational final was epic with the Twingo comeback.

How are the views at the Silverstone RX track? Worth taking a camera and long lens along (i .e. low-ish views, lack of fences etc)?

I enjoyed that! its how entertaining motorsport should be... perhaps the tracks should be a bit wider for more overtakes, but other than that!

Got to see the final on Sunday night, couldn't find, Q4 or the semis but now I find that Ekstrom got disqualified from the win for the shunt at first corner that put Solberg out.

Final was good though, very close with Kristoffersson .

O2 priority are doing 55% off of tickets.
tickets. Aka they couldn't sell them at £50.

For £22.50 I'm now considering it especially as Global RX has been pulled from Lydden.

Enter code: SM02 when looking at tickets. Edit - code now expired.

Surely that can't be a sign that tickets aren't selling?

Ouch, I have just seen the prices for Silverstone next year, Earlybird Weekend Ticket £95, £125 on the gate, camping is even worse at £140 or £170 each.

That is double the cost of Lydden, I think I will be voting with my feet and staying at home!!
So what happened to the "Early bird "pricing ,quoted from May last year ?

Prices slashed and discounted even more ,it almost makes we want to go to Silverstone and do a spectator head count....biggrin

Remember ,live coverage from Portugal on Sunday 4pm to 5.30 ,Freesports channel 95 Freeview.

Spotted another good reason to go to Belgium WRX ,they have 3 support categories including European supercars and Silverstone only has 1.

Can this code only be used on the O2 website? It won't work on the Silverstone booking page. I'm not an O2 user so can't check
