Just build a tyre to last, simple. Racing shouldn't be about if you push you'll get thrown off the circuit at 100mph+ As the tyre has failed, it should be flat out from start to finish.

Matt Neal is an idiot for trying to cut across the leading pack of cars from the left hand side of the circuit and should be fined and given Max point for causing an avoidable accident.

As soon as he had that puncture his race was over, going to the pits not required he would not have got any points.

Not to mention on lap one he also pushed Ingram into the Mercedes of Moffat after the complex - should have got a penalty for that as well. He has always been a dirty driver and they let him get away with it.

How can Neal stand there and blame others for hitting him when hes pulled across the front of the pack?

He is at full weight drives a mega aggressive from the start hopping curbs and then it's everyone else's fault when his inevitable puncture happens through a chicane and in his rush to take a pit line get collected. Typical Neal reaction

Watching it on plus 1, I still reckon 5second penalty for every contact

Having just seen the Neal interview, maybe it's time he got a penalty

Agreed. Not sure why he expects the field behind to guess which way he's going and get off the power and racing line to go around him. Surely he should just have pulled off to the left?

I'm not sure he was checking to see if Josh Cook was ok when he ran over either...
Well guessed, Josh Cook just mentioned that.

As reported above, last two races reduced to just 12 laps each.

Thus Dunlop have supplied tyres that they don't feel can last a full race?

Absolutely disgraceful. These tyres should be bulletproof over the expected race duration.

Only watching the races not the chat - what did Cook say was said?

So the race distance is reduced by 33%, I think it's a bit unfair, as the nature of the race has changed so much towards a "sprint", that they haven't adjusted the balast weight accordingly...

Cook said Neal came over and mouthed off, he was pretty critical of Neal's behaviour on and off the track throughout the interview. Of course Neal will get away with it again.

Completely agree with the above, saw the aftermath and once again Neal has proved he is the tosser he always is. How he is still racing I don't know, even Plato isn't that much of a dhead.

Although he has probably only done it because someone told him to, he has now apologised on Twitter:

Hopefully he'll still get penalised for that stupid move.
