I still think schumacher will be winning everything. OK, I know the weather made a big difference etc... but, surely if barichello comes 2nd, shumacher would either have come 2nd or more likely 1st imo had he had his usual luck!

I'm a die hard F1 fan and even though it was great to see the superb Fisichella win I found it a bit of a dull race, a good bit of rain would have spiced it up a bit. Good on you Red Bull, shame on you BAR !

again average at best. just because someone else wins it doesnt make the race exciting! Bar the first lap or two, I missed the overtaking move of the race, that is the only one, not the best one....mind you, there aint half some filth on the telly at 3am i can tell you....

BAR found a loop hole and used it, fair play to them. I am sure it embarrassed the FIA that they leave another glaring opportunity open to the teams. I seem to remember a lower team doing something similar and aborting their qualifying runs to top up with fuel a year or two ago?!?...

well done fisichella though, it must have be so hard for you what with the Red Bull of Mr Compacent behind you....

I thought it was a very boring race none of the charging through the field I had hoped for due to the topsy turvy grid. And I have to disagree about Coulthard I thought he did a top job and the Red bull team too they had been dismissed all pre season.
I hope this was a 1 off tho with no overtaking and little change to qualifying order.

Good to see Schumi back to form tho! Now Heidfeld has something in common with Hill and Villeneuve

Is it just me or did Schumy jump in front of Heidfeld only to then abuse his position as a 'top driver' and insist on the marshalls rescuing him out of the kitty litter. I know he had to retire but what if he hadnt, he ruined someone else race by swerving into their path in my opinion.

Overall, the race was dull, pitstops are now very dull, glad a different team won but how long will that last. Fair play to BAR for having the presence of mind to make the most of the rather constrictive rules!

I think qualifying should go back to being a test of timing and skill, ie. allow the teams to qualify when they feel the track/temp etc is best. Otherwise when there is the slightest change in weather you may aswell draw straws for the grid.

I cant help but keep watching it - but I really wish all the politics and controlling influences hadnt knocked all the excitement and thrill out of the sport!

All IMO of course.

Yes, yet again Schuey "did a Schuey". I.E. He couldn't handle the fact that he wasn't at the front, and when he realised he was unable to improve his position, he got frustrated, the red mist came down and he caused an accident. Just the usual for him when he's having an uncompetitive day.

And that's what makes him unlikeable.

As for ordering the marshals around - if he can manipulate the marshals to make it work for him, then good for him.

Two things, Schuey didn't do a 'Schuey' (And no, I don't like him) He was taking the line and Heidfeld was locked up and had come from a looong way back, he was never going to make the gap that the Ferrari needed to take the proper line.

Second: If Barrichello managed to take second from his lowly starting position... What the hell was Schumcher pratting around at for 35 laps? He made bugger all movement up the field. Wasn't he outside the top ten when he went off? For a seven time world champion, he was driving like a rookie. Yes he'd made places from his starting position, but come on, he had to pass Jordans, Minardi's and Saubers. He's in a Ferrari, that's not that difficult!

That race made him look very average. I've always believed that unless he's out front and leading he's not as sharp as everyone makes out.
