Didn't Dave Bartrum say they had a driver lined to to replace Jordan who'd win races not long ago hehe
Davenport has won races recently.

Surprised by Depper, it'll be interesting to see how he improves with a decent driver in his team though, both him and Smith improved a lot when Lloyd was in the third Eurotech car so he may do well with a better driver to follow.

I'm very pleased for Ant, the Audis are great looking cars and again I think having more than one car in their team, both cars will do pretty well.
Not BTCC races though...

Hopefully he ends up back at WSR, although I can't imagine Jordan would be too thrilled about that.

Definitely a shame, Colin comes across as a true gentleman and a thoroughly nice bloke. I hope he continues in BTCC.

Source? How do you know it's because of Plato? I assume you have evidence to back up your accusations?

I reckon so too.
Jordan will have his ride paid up with Pirtek and Colin will drive a BMW (with a sponsor Dick Bennetts/WSR has managed to source) would be my guess.
Collard will the be alongside with a paid for drive in a similar sponsored car to Turks.

I hope so anyway. Great bunch at WSR.

He and Scott were hardly at each other's throats at Autosport today. Should hear some news next week, according to Scott. I was surprised not to see Plato at the show today. Perhaps he'll show up tomorrow?

Not offended, just nice to have evidence to back up an accusation rather than common knowledge or Chinese whispers...

I'd say it has nothing to do with Plato and all to do with ££££'s.

I know people would love it to be because there's been a massive falling out behind the scenes but going on past experience I think it's the more logical reason.

Looking at the sponsors on the cars, Silverline and Adrian Flux are across all four thanks to Plato but Cole and Turkington's sponsors are only on their cars.

The announcement of Turkington to leave BMR I must say, is the one that has surprised me the most...he took way more out of the car through last season than any of the other drivers did, and obviously being something of a rear wheel drive specialist seemed the obvious choice to lead the team into 2017.

But then maybe that is not what 'the team' require from him.... being rather cynical, I suppose his status in the team was revealed by them allowing the driver that hadn't a chance at the championship by that point, being allowed to actually RACE him at brands, potentially compromising Colins championship possibilities......Didn't a similar incident happen in the team 12 months earlier to the driver that was racing Turkington and it was apparently a major scandal....the other driver involved may have even 'just got himself the sack'.

As already mentioned, a return to WSR would be the ideal for Colin......I doubt that will please A.J. too much though!!!

BMR & 888 haven't announced their lineups yet, and I don't think Lines has been officially confirmed either. Everything else is spot-on though, I think.

Still a few names around not tied to drives though...Goff, Aron Smith, Rob Collard and obviously Turkington among others.

Still a couple of decent seats available... 2 BMW's, the Subaru and the Eurotech car (be interesting to see who fills that, tidy car in the right hands..look at what Daniel Lloyd did with it last year!).

That would be a bigger coup than when Turkington originally went to BMR!

I still think the Passat's could be handy especially with the RML kit.
