I don't doubt he has huge clout with the team. I'm having a harder time imagining Subaru liking the possibility of Turkington going back to WSR and then beating them to the title in a BMW. Will be fascinating to see how this plays out, though - I could certainly see it going either way. One thing that sticks in my mind would be the issue of his pride - it wouldn't exactly look great to the fans if he puts pressure on the team to get rid of Turkington. He would be as well just coming out and saying "he''s the better driver".

Turks is a great driver (my favourite BTCC driver as it goes) but doesn't bring much money to the table, and that makes him expendable in today's series.

Besides, in Plato's mind he is and will always be the best driver out there, so don't think for a moment he'll in any way feel remorseful about easing Colin out of what should be the best seat in the BTCC next year...

Looks like car least one InfinitI may be back with new owners. One car gas the new subframes in, new TOCA engine and 160kgs less weight.

Would be good to see the car's on the grid not being run by some dodgy bd.

I think Colin could stake a claim to being the best driver on the grid. And one of the nicest guys too.

Interesting (and that sounds like a hell of a weight saving - that can't have helped their pace). One of them was on display in its BTCC livery at Knockhill when the super tourers came up in September - Derek Palmer was there driving a Primera, so I'm guessing it was probably his car. I would suspect that means it's the other car that has been sold. Surprising, I wasn't expecting to see them again.

Palmer was there but both cars belong to the new owner. Saw a post on Facebook earlier in the week where the point was specifically made that the whole Palmer family have nothing to do with the cars now hehe
Hope they can get them onto the grid, they've got potential just with being rear wheel drive.

So many questions... Is the new owner already in the BTCC? Will they get hold of the TBLs, or do they not need to? BKR springs to mind as a two car team looking to upgrade.

Or maybe Dan Welch? Was the car he finished the year in not a temporary stop-gap when his proper car got banjoed? I could see him being a "build one car, and try to wangle a second" candidate...

No other details were given/mentioned so will be interesting to see how it pans out. Would be good to see the cars back, they look awesome.

Confirmed that Jordan and Motorbase have gone their separate ways. Where next for him? Back to Eurotech?

why not a 3rd Honda run by dynamics?

Dynamics a fair call but the team have an identity, would a third completely different car work for them, if so, why not.

Seems to be slightly more amicable than the 888 split...

Eurotech is at best unlikely, I've heard that Mike and Andy Jordan have considered running just one car themselves but doing historic stuff is likely to take up too much time to be able to do that.

Dynamics would be good but the sticking point last season was the Pirtek livery rather than a 3rd Halfords car so that could still be the case.

What about a curveball at Subaru, Turkington and Jordan. Plato to Ford?

Platoon is a big reason why Subaru came to the championship, he won't be going anywhere. Turkington back in a BMW wouldn't be a surprise.

Turks will definately be in a BMW I reackon which will mean the championship will be wrapped up well before the last race of the season.

There is a 3rd type r car about don't forget as Neate had it then it was a eurotech for half the season. I think Jordan will be at dynamics with this car in Pirtek livery.

The apparent reason he left Ford is they have a new sponsor that want to be on both cars.

I think the TBL went to Eurotech, not the actual car.

The 3rd Eurotech car was a shell built up that they had spare, the Dynamics car was a separate car all together.
