Didn't even know the rally was on I was so busy. Gutted for Evans to miss out. Need to watch the coverage!

Watched the coverage yesterday, what a stunning location to go rallying, definitely one for the wishlist....

In a few weeks I'll be in Porto watching the next round, I love the fact that I've no clue who will win it, can't wait!

Finally looks like the WRC could be returning to New Zealand!

Opposite end of NZ to me but I think I'll be making the trip north if it happens!

NZ should always be in the WRC; ideally as a 'double header' with Australia, but if not, then NZ only. Best gravel roads in the world, fantastic stages - the old Motu Road stage from the early/ mid 90's was an epic stage.

Also, despite its size, NZ produces some of the finest drivers/ riders in all motorsport; currently Dixon, Hartley, Bamber, Van Gisbergen et al are proving this.

Route announced - and what a route; 300 stage miles, making it the longest special stage event in the the UK. Can't wait!

That is one gruelling rally. fk me though - watching rally cars on full chat at Shelsley is scary enough when they're going up the hill, never mind down!

Massive shame for Tanak, damaging his suspension and handing Ogier the lead.

Yet another mistake for Meeke yesterday. Wonder how water tight that contract for next year is?

Another good result for Breen. He's gotten half of Citroens' manufacturing points even though he missed an event (or two?) and they have two other drivers!

I'm ashamed to admit I haven't seen a bit of this rally. Delighted for Breen.

I'm still wondering when Paddon is going to get some good luck with that car!

He does seem to get all the unreliability!

I see Mikkelsen is in a C3 for Sardinia, puts Meeke under a bit more pressure!

There will be chicanes added at opportune points to stop the cars getting it TOO wrong - the corner into the car park on the way down would do for a lot of competitors if they didn't!

Will be interesting to see how Mikkelsen goes in the Citroen, I wouldn't expect too much for his first rally in the car with limited testing though. It seems to have taken all the other drivers a bit of time to really settle into the 2017 cars.
