I know they wan't to try to run to time and avoid overruns, but FFS they were still only 5 minutes over by the end of the show - god forbid that Apprentice viewers would have to wait 5 minutes later because it overran

Fantastic stuff! This level of progress, together with his maturity, really top notch - he's a bit of a breath of fresh air on C4 F1 highlights coverage, too.
(I remember his recent post-race interview with Lewis Hamilton. Recall in the Billy Whizz documentary that Lewis made an effort to visit his testing, and it was really cool to see how that interaction lead to a very relaxed Billy interviewing Lewis after a GP win.)
